DESCRIPTION: Japy Freres & Cie gilded brass mantel clock. Hand painted porcelain face with scene of man and woman by riverside. Arabic numbers. Four leaf motif columns at each corner topped with finial. Clock top with vaulted dome and acorn finial. Movement marked for Japy Freres & Cie. Four feet. PROVENANCE: From Eleanor Allen and the late Heath Allen, Camp Hill, PA. MEASUREMENTS: 7-3/4" x 14". CONDITION: No glass over face. Pitting and light patina to gilding throughout
