DESCRIPTION: A very fine wood and gesso Adam style neoclassical mirror retailed (and so marked) by Mirror Fair (NYC). The form consisting of a central oval looking glass surmounted in thin draping classical urns and leaves in the style of the 18th century. Label verso "Mirror Fair New York". Late 20th century manufacture. All covered in gilding. PROVENANCE: From the Estate of Ron Shepler, Harrisburg, PA. MEASUREMENTS: 34" x 4" x 64" high. CONDITION: No defects noted.
