A tack-eyed shorebird decoy with raised wings, four carved primary feathers, and notched tail feather definition. This bird is from the Gardner Family rig, used at their gunning stand on Hummock Pond. In the 1850s four Gardner families lived and farmed along Hummock Pond Road.
