Leaping Brown Trout
signed "Wm J. Schaldach" lower right
watercolor, 12 1/2 by 17 in.There is a hand-written note affixed to the back from the artist to the original buyer that reads: "Dear Mr. Trevor: This is the painting you saw and which I reserved until hearing from you. It is one of the best fish pieces I've done, I think."
