- Lot Description
James "Corb" Reed (1897-1987), Chincoteague, VA, c. 1970
A pair of decoys displaying glass eyes, carved bill detail, fine painted feathering, and carved tail feathers and feet. The resting hen has nearly closed eyes and carved primaries. The turned-head drake has "Corb Reed" stamped on the bottom.
Condition
Original paint with minimal wear, the drake has two tiny chips to tail feathers.
