Crisfield, MD, 1928
This bold decoy displays some of the finest paint seen on any canvasback hen by the Ward Brothers. From a special-order rig of six birds. Signed "-1928- L.T. Ward-Bro. Crisfield, MD Lem Ward, Steve Ward," branded "P" and "WHP JR" on the bottom.
Original paint with even gunning wear and touch-up to reset bill.
