Mallard Pair
George A. Kessler (1868-1955)
Pekin, IL, c. 1940
16 in. long
Two hollow decoys with tack eyes, carved bill detail, and original lead strip weights. Both are fine examples of the maker's work and are rig stamped "E C B" on the underside.
Original paint with gunning wear. The drake has a neck crack, a tail chip, and cracks.
