Hollow Golden Plover Wind Bird

A feather-light hollow plover in breeding plumage with raised and split wing tips. The body has a vertical seam as well as applied wings fastened with fine-cut nails. The delicate decoy is exceptionally hollow with the extended wing tips acting as sails. A very small hole in the back of the bird held the stick pin allowing the bird to pivot in the wind.
In original paint with working paint and touch-up, a chip to right wing tip,and a replaced bill.
