Hans Albert Hochbaum (1911-1988) Suitors in Pursuit, 1973
signed and dated "H. Albert Hochbaum 1973" lower right
tempera on panel, 22 by 30 in.
Hochbaum describes the scene of "Suitors in Pursuit" in "To Ride the Wind," as, "More Canvasback continued to arrive [on the Delta Marsh], many newcomers unpaired, each single hen the object of attention for a party of suitors."
