William H. Foster was an accomplished sporting artist, illustrator, and editor of "National Sportsman" and "Hunting and Fishing" magazines. He authored "New England Grouse Shooting," and was an inventor of skeet shooting. In addition, he was also a skilled decoy maker crafting only birds for his own use.
