New York, c. 1920
A goldeneye hen with highly refined carving, including sharp chines along the sides, fluting under the tail, shoulder carving, and a pinched breast. The underside features a custom-fit swing weight that folds neatly into an inlay in the body. The head features pronounced cheek carving and some of the most refined bill carving we have seen on any decoy.
