Mason Decoy Factory (1896-1924)
Detroit, MI, c. 1900
10 1/2 in. long
The scarcity of Mason's earliest red knots is evidenced by the absence of any illustrated example in "Mason Decoys: A Complete Pictorial Guide."
Original paint with minimal wear, minor touch-up at base of bill, plugged stick hole in breast.
