Early Canvasback Drake

An early expertly crafted hollow decoy from the rig of Dr. James M. Salmon, who owned land and gunned on Long Point, Ontario. He sold his land to the Long Point Company in 1866, retaining lifetime gunning privileges.
In old working repaint with flaking and gunning wear.
