Santa Clara pottery, lidded vessel, mostly black with brown coloring around the collar of the jar. Signed on bottom - Anita Martinez.
Anita Martinez (San Ildefonso Pueblo) was the granddaughter of famed potter Maria Martinez.
Vessel measures approximately 4.75 in tall without lid, 6.5 in tall with lid, 5.75 in diameter at the widest area, and 2.5 in diameter at the mouth of the vessel.
