Pio Cesare is a classic Piemontese producer and from the fantastic 1978 vintage, 1978 Chateau de Malleret is the top 5 chateau in the appellation for many years and the 1986 Caves des Rasteau was the best region for the 1986 vintage producing robust and rich wines.
