- Lot Description
Hans-Agne Jakobsson AB Markaryd mid-century aluminum table lamp model "BN 26". Made in Sweden. Marked on the bottom and under the shade.
"Hans-Agne Jakobsson (1919–2009) was a Swedish interior and furniture designer, who ran his own company since 1951. Jakobsson was especially famous for his lighting designs, which often had a softly glowing light and organic shape. His designs were inspired by great, modern Scandinavian designers such as the Finnish icon Alvar Aalto and Danish lighting master Poul Henningsen."
Measures approximately 19 in H with a 13 1/2 in D.
Condition is good, some surface abrasions and tiny dents in the base.
