Caroli Victorii Ferrerii a Marmora honorariae legioni adscripti, Imperii baronis, Dei et Apostolicae Sedis gratia episcopi Salutiensis pro anno MDCCCXV, a rare book written in 1815 by the Italian cardinal Teresio Maria Carlo Vittorio Ferrero della Marmora, and published in the commune of Carmagnola (Carmaniolae, in Latin), on the outskirts of Turin, Italy, published by Petrus Barbie, text in Latin, hardcover, 12mo., in 19th century full leather binding with extensive gilt design and imagery, marbled endpapers, vignette of Bishop's coat of arms on the title page, 64 pp., ink notes of the former owner, Mrs. Breese of Florence (Firenze), dated 1936 - on the front and rear endpapers. A rare book, with no copies of the 1815 edition located in OCLC. Teresio Maria Carlo Vittorio Ferrero della Marmora was born in Turin in 1757 and ordained in 1781. He was appointed bishop by Pope Pius VI in 1796 and created Cardinal by Pope Leo XII in 1824. He died in 1831.
