(Limited Editions Club), Lot of 5 titles published by the Limited Editions Club: 1. The Iceman Cometh, Eugene O'Neill, illustrated by Leonard Baskin, 1982, number 213/2000 signed by Baskin; 2. Oedipus, Friedrich Durrenmatt, illustrated by Marie Cosindas, 1989, number 106/650 signed by Cosindas; 3. The Leopard, Giuseppe di Lampedusa, 1988, frontis etching by Piero Guccione, number 106/750 signed by Guccione; 4. Thus Spake Zarathustra, 1964, Friedrich Nietzsche, decorations by Arnold Bank, number 492/1500; 5. The Nibelungenlied, illustrated by Edy Legrand, 1960, one of 1500 copies, this one marked AB and from the collection of Arnold Bank who designed the binding and did the lettering. All in their original slipcases and with monthly letter laid in. Provenance: deaccessioned from a regional institution; will include a letter of deaccession from the institution.1. two small library stamps to the rear endpaper, including one Withdrawn, and a small abrasion to front blank from bookplate removal; else a sharp, clean copy; 2. sunning and light wear to spine, no library marks; 3. near fine with minimal shelfwear, no library marks; 4. two small library stamps to the rear endpaper, including one Withdrawn, and a bookplate affixed to the front pastedown; else a sharp, clean copy; 5. two small library stamps to the rear endpaper, including one Withdrawn, and a small abrasion to front blank from bookplate removal, otherwise good condition with light signs of handling.
