Holley, Lonnie B. (African-American, contemporary), 3 Figures in Profile - Human, Bird and Elephant, undated, c.1990, carved sandstone sculpture, inscribed along the lower edge, 9 x 7.5 x 5.5 inches. A powerful piece by an important Black folk artist who's also known as The Sandman. His work is in the permanent collection of the National Gallery of Art, The Smithsonian American Art Museum, The Whitney, and other major public and private collections.
