Arp, Jean (Hans) (French, 1886-1966), Dreams and Projects, 1952, portfolio with 28 original woodcuts printed by Fequet et Baudier, Paris, on Arches wove paper, including 7 in two colors (gray and black), from the whole edition of 320 this is number 4 of 25 copies that comes with an extra set of the woodcuts on Japan paper (although this copy is missing 9 of those and only has 19 of the extra set), signed and numbered by Arp on the colophon and again on the cover of the separate suite, published by Curt Valentin, loose sheets in paper folder and two piece slipcase, 11.25 x 9 inches, introductory essay and caption titles in English, French and German. Missing 9 of the woodcuts from the extra suite on Japan paper; otherwise in good or better condition, the prints from the extra suite in very good condition; the 28 regular woodcuts with offsetting to the facing page, pls some light browning and foxing to folders and margins.
