Shaw, Henry, Dresses and Decorations of the Middle Ages, complete set in 2 volumes, 1843, Pickering, London, hardcover, 4tos., (11 x 7.5 inches), in 19th century 3/4 leather bindings, raised bands and gilt title, teg, illustrated throughout with color plates as well as color initials, bookplate of the Scottish collector Adam Sim of Coulter Mains affixed to both front pastedowns, complete with over 90 plates.
Condition
In good condition, light to moderate foxing throughout; leather scuffed at edges and corners; inner hinges secure, but with signs of old repairs.
