Boulanger, Graciela Rodo (Bolivian, b. 1935), Deux Chiens, color lithograph on paper, 2003, signed and numbered 80/275 in pencil, image 10.75 x 10.75 inches, matted and framed in a metallic wood frame 22.25 x 22.25 inches. Graciela Rodo Boulanger is a Bolivian artist known for paintings and prints, stylized depictions of children and childhood scenes. She has shown in over 150 exhibitions on five continents. She was designated by UNICEF as official artist for the International Year of the Child poster in 1979, and two of her tapestries were presented in the public hall of the U.N. General Assembly that year. Boulanger has been recognized by the Metropolitan Opera of New York; The Museum of Modern Art of Latin America in Washington, DC; The Bibliotheque Nationale, Paris; the World Federation of the United Nations Associations; the Museum of Modern Art, LaPaz; and the Modern Art Center, Zurich.
