Lot of 6 sterling silver and plate boxes, compact, etc. Includes: Georg Jensen sterling compact with stylized floral motif, opens to reveal a mirror at lid, appropriately marked, American, early 20th century; vintage Mexican sterling snuff or perfume bottle, chased decoration, with green glass finial, marked Made in Mexico; R. Blackinton pill box, American, early to mid 20th century, appropriately marked; sterling lidded and footed rounded miniature vanity dish, marked sterling at underside; sterling chased rounded lidded box with turquoise colored stone, Native American, mid 20th century, apparently unmarked; lidded and cedar lined box, likely silver plate, hinged lid opens to reveal two compartments lined with cedar wood, underside marked 'Hand Made, 2' with unidentifiable maker's mark. Combined weight approximately 6.78 ozt, not including the cedar lined box. Ranging in size from 1.25 x 6.5 x 4.25 to 1.2 x 1.25 x .25 inches. Provenance: The Estate of Paul G. Benedum, Jr.In overall good condition, apart from tarnishing and wear commensurate with age and use. Merchandise will be packed and transported by the purchaser at their own risk and expense.
