- Lot Description
Set of 4 Charles and Ray Eames DKR-2 wire chairs with bikini covers, American, first release in 1951. Black lacquer wire frames, Eiffel tower base, original vinyl bikini seat and back covers in chartreuse. Herman Miller fabric labels at undersides. 34.5 x 19 x 20 inches.
Condition
Vinyl stained, worn, and ripped in some areas. One seat with eight separating wires. Oxidation at bases in some areas. One with loose and missing screws. One with base slightly bent in two areas.
