English, Joseph Craig (American/Maryland/Virginia, b.1947) Includes: Farmville Train Station, 1974, color serigraph on paper, numbered 11/40, titled, signed, and dated in pencil along lower edge, image 12 x 20.75 inches, matted 22 x 26 inches; Vegetable Stand, 1974, color serigraph on paper, numbered 39/50, titled, signed, and dated in pencil along lower edge, image 15 x 21, matted 22 x 26 inches. Painter and printmaker Joseph Craig English is an American painter and printmaker. He was educated at the School of Art at VCU in Richmond, VA. His work is avidly collected and has been included in dozens of museum and corporate collections on paper, including The Virginia Museum in Richmond, The Chrysler Museum in Norfolk, The Baltimore Museum and the Taubman Museum in Roanoke, Virginia. Provenance: The Estate of John F. Beamer, Jr., State College, PA.Both with pastel accretions and staining throughout.
