According to Frank Bird Linderman, “Morning Star – better known as Agnes Clarke. She is a descendant of one of the prominent figures of the fur-trading days who married a Blackfeet woman. A girl of grace, beauty and education, she is actively engaged in the modern business life of the reservation.”
