Cased ivory and silver percussion duelling pistols attributed to Devisme, France circa 1840, the pistols having octagonal Damascus steel barrels and fixed front sights, with deeply engraved lock, breech, hammer, and trigger guards, the barrel tang grip, and butt cap are worked in repousee silver with floral designs, the boulle case holds both pistols and a full complement of original accessories, many of them executed in ivory and having scrimshaw monograms, including a single cavity bullet mold, a combination screwdriver and nipple wrench tool, an ivory percussion cap container, an ivory mallet, an ivory and metal ramrod, and an ivory powder flask, barrels 10"l, pistols 17"l.
