Latvian Memorabilia. To include a signed metal bust of Vladimir Lenin; (1) a small printed flag of The Octobrists, "Grandchildren of Lenin", with a central portrait of Lenin as a child; (2) embroidered Vladimir Lenin All-Union Pioneer Organization banners/pennants with a central portrait of Lenin and the motto - "Always ready!" decorated with a gold fringe border; an embroidered Vladimir Lenin All-Union Pioneer Organization banner/pennant with a central portrait of Lenin and the motto - "Always ready!" - text reads, "For the struggle for the deed/cause of the Communist party of the Soviet Union; an embroidered Latvian Soviet Socialist Republic double sided flag with a central state emblem on the obverse - text reads, " The best farm in Riga district on the development of livestock, the increase of fodder production and the maintenance of quality" and a central embroidered hammer and cycle with grain running across the bottom right - text reads " L K P(Communist Party of Lithuania), Riga District Commissions, District Workers' Council of Deputies, Committee of Agricultural and Procurement Workers' and Servants' Trade Union District Committees traveling flag" decorated with a golden fringe; an unfinished oil on canvas portrait of Vladimir Lenin, removed from stretcher; and a completed oil on canvas portrait of Vladimir Lenin, removed from stretcher. From a Darien, CT estate. Dimensions: Bust of Lenin measures approx. 6" in height"Good, Flags, banners, and pennants exhibit creases, wrinkles, soiled area's, fading, stains, and loose threads.
