(Untitled). Signed verso. Daniel LaRue Johnson, (African-American, 1938-2017). - Dimensions: 60" high x 60" wide.
Condition
There are handling marks or surface grime most visible in the orange pigment in the lower portion of the composition. There is also a line of light scuffing the the lower-most blue-green stripe. There are small but visible moisture or drip marks that run horizontally through the upper portion of the dominant green area; there are also orange paint drops in this area in the upper right - these appear original to the work and seem to match the lower orange stripe. The canvas and pigment are healthy, free from cracking, losses or tears.
