South Sea pearl necklace with pave diamond ball form clasp. Pearls are individually knotted and graduated in size 12mm to 15mm. Accompanied by a March 28th, 1998 Rachel Child receipt stating, "A fine South Sea Cultured Pearl necklace comprising 31 pearls of rich lustre. The necklace, knotted between each pearl, graduates from 13mm at the diamond ball clasp to 15mm... centered by a single pearl size 16 1/2mm (4 pearls at each side of the largest central pearl are size 15mm). £35000.00". Also accompanied by a 8-19-13 Shannon Fitzpatrick Inc. description stating, "South Sea Pearl Necklace with Diamond Clasp, One ladies 19" long South Sea Pearl Necklace. Accompanied by an August 20th, 2019 Pearl Identification Report, no. 6207508443 stating, "Near-round, White, No Overtone, Bead Cultured Pearls, Saltwater, Pinctada Maxima, No indications of treatment, Thirty-one (31) drilled pearls in a graduated necklace with a white metal clasp set with numerous transparent near-colorless round brilliants., 116.80 grams (gross), ranging from 12.18 mm to 14.90 mm, Mollusk identification is an expert opinion based on a collection of observations and analytical data". The clasp is a spherical 11.60mm design pave set with a total of 178 round full cut diamonds with a total approx. weight of 89/100ct. of VS clarity approx. G color. The tongue fo the clasp is accented with 1 approx. 05/100ct. full cut round diamond approx. VS clarity G color. The necklace is knotted with a total of 31 slightly graduated South Sea pearls ranging in size from approx. 15.00mm to 12.00mm. The color is a light cream with a low to medium luster very slightly blemished. $60,000.00". Total approx. weight is 116.7 grams. From a Philadelphia, PA collection. Dimensions: necklace measures approx. 19" in length.Good, with light surface scratches and minor dings/dents.
