Diamond Earrings. Includes a pair of Julius Cohen sapphire and diamond ear clips: (1) comprised of a central round brilliant cut sapphire with a surround of (8) Old European cut diamonds, and (1) comprised of a central round brilliant cut sapphire with a surround of (8) round brilliant cut diamonds. Each earring with a plaque to the interior reading, "Julius Cohen". (1) earring accompanied by a May 15th, 2019 GIA Sapphire Origin Report, no. 2205261229" stating this is one, "Round, Brilliant Cut, Transparent, Blue, Natural Corundum, Natural Sapphire, Geographic Origin of Cambodia, With no indications of heating, center stone set in a white and yellow metal earring wtih eight (8) near-colorless old European brilliant, 4.94 grams (gross), 5.10-5.16 x 3.23mm, Any statement on geographic origin is an expert opinion based on a collection of observations and analytical data". The second stone is accompanied by May 17th, 2019 GIA Sapphire Origin Report, no. 2201261190, stating this is one, "Round, Brilliant Cut, Transparent, Blue, Natural Corundum, Natural Sapphire, Inconclusive Geographic Origin, No indications of heating, Center stone set in a yellow metal earring with eight (8) near-colorless round brilliants. 4.87 grams (gross), 5.22 x 5.24 x 3.29m, Any statement on geographic origin is an expert opinion based on a collection of observations and analytical data. Based on familial provenance: Original tie tack (sapphire and diamond center) made for Max Cohen, married to Heyman family and created by first generation OSCAR HEYMAN & Bros. Renowned jeweler, JULIUS COHEN, created matching center to design and make earrings, possibly while at H. Winston, for his mother. Total approx. weight is 6.3 dwt. From the estate of Julius Cohen's niece. Dimensions: earrings measure approx. 0.67" diameter.Good.
