Ring. 18kt gold ring with central 1.12 ct emerald cut emerald flanked by straight baguette diamonds weighing approx. 0.25 cts each. With an April 25th, 2019 GIA Emerald Origin Report no. 1206224899 stating this is one, "Octagonal, Step Cut, Transparent, Green, Natural Beryl, Emerald, Brazil, Treatment: Clarity Enhancement (F1), 3.21 grams (gross), 6.32 x 6.22 x 4.23mm, Any statement on geographic origin is an expert opinion based on a collection of observations and analytical date. Due to their growth conditions in nature and recovery methods, most emeralds contain surface reaching features. For this reason, clarity enhancement is a common trade practice". Accompanied by a Freedman Jewelers 2/10/96 description stating this is one, "Lady's 18kt yellow gold emerald and diamond ring. This high polish half round shank measures 2.13mm wide at the top and tapers to 2.07mm wide at the base of the shank. Centered in a four prong setting is faceted emerald cut emerald measuring 6.20 x 6.20 x 4.20mm, weighing 1.12 carats, and generally VS1 Bluish green, tone 5, saturation 5 and VS clarity. The center stone is flanked by two straight cut diamond baguettes (one on each side) set in four prong settings, measuring 4.23 x 3.00mm, with a total weight of .50 carats and generally VVS1 to VVS2 clarity and F to G color. The ring including all gem materials weighs 2.1 pennyweight. The ring was purchased from B. Freedman Jewelers. Total $4871.25". Stamped, "18k" to interior of shank, with unidentified maker's mark of JJ in a circular cartouche. Ring size - 5 1/2. From a Huntington, NY estate.
