Robert Schwinger was born in Philadelphia, PA, and currently lives and works in New York. He studied art at the Fleisher Art Memorial in Philadelphia from 1964-67, and Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts from 1968-71, with further studies at the Place de Vosages in Paris, France, and the Vermont Studio Center in Johnson, VT. He first began exhibiting in 1969 with a group show at Bucks County Arts Center in New Hope, PA, and has been included in numerous exhibitions since. His work is held in private collections across the globe and is also included in the permanent collection of Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, Philadelphia, PA.

Works can be retrieved the night of the Gala for winning bidders in attendance or from the CITYarts offices in NoHo for online bidders throughout NY. Shipping will otherwise be coordinated on a case by case basis for lots sold to bidders out of state, internationally, or for NY residents who require shipping, and the buyer agrees to cover these costs.
