Jay Rangam (b. Toronto, Ontario) lives and works in New York. He studied at the Ontario College of Art and Design and received his MFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art in 2021. The artist, primarily a painter, maintains a studio in Brooklyn and sees his work as occupying a middle ground between Abstraction and Representational art. When Jay first arrived in New York City, he worked as a studio assistant to the minimalist artist, Tom Bronk. Recent exhibitions include work shown at O’Flaherty’s Art Gallery, New York, NY (2022).
Once CITYarts has received payment in full, the buyer shall contact CITYarts to arrange shipping or pick-up. Shipping, handling, and insurance charges are the responsibility of the buyer. Buyers in the New York area can make arrangements to have works retrieved from the CITYarts offices or delivered when possible. Please contact gala@cityarts.org for all shipping arrangements.
