This snow globe contains some of the actual confetti that was poised to drop from the ceiling of the Javits Center upon the election of our first woman President.
Bunny Burson is a multimedia artist focused on the intersection of history, politics, and science. Trained as a printmaker, interested in materiality, and influenced by conceptual art, she experiments with diverse processes to create work addressing historic and contemporary issues. Her research into her genetic profile and subsequent experimentation with fabrication technology have led Burson to continue the exploration of her personal history, visually animating scientific data and linking her generation to the past and the present.
