- Lot Description
A historically significant pair of Loop Chair prototypes by Willy Guhl, discovered near Annecy, close to Switzerland. The modifications appear expertly executed, aligning with designs documented in Willy Guhl’s archives. Likely an early prototype dating back to 1969, this rare find embodies the innovative spirit of the Swiss modernist movement. A collector’s and trader’s dream. Height: 27 in. Width: 30 in. Depth: 21 in.
Condition
The metal legs are bolted under the seat, secured by a metal plate, ensuring the entire structure remains stable. Wear commensurate with age and evidence of outdoor use.
