This unique armchair is a striking creation by Gilles Hoang, a visionary French designer known for blending baroque and multiethnic influences. Crafted in his Gratay, Burgundy atelier, the chair showcases his signature assemblage of wooden elements, evoking Mongolian thrones and fantasy aesthetics.Hoang, originally from Paris, explored theater set design, illustration, and puppet making before dedicating himself to avant-garde furniture in 1998. His works, infused with narrative and mysticism, are considered functional art. This piece, acquired directly from his studio, remains in excellent condition, offering collectors a rare opportunity to own a masterpiece of imaginative craftsmanship. Signed. Height: 32 in.
