HAAS (Jonas) An 18th century album with two engraved maps, one plan and ten folding views of Danish towns and palaces, mainly by Jonas HAAS (1720-1775), most on watermarked laid paper, general size 19.7 x 19.5 cm. The two folding maps are 'Generalem et prorsus Novam SIAELANDIAE Tabulam Geographicam' by N.A. Abildgaard (1743-1809) after D. C. Fester, 55 x 78 cm (sheet), and 'Den Kongel: Residentz Stad KIOBENHAFN I GRUNDTEGNING', 1764, 54.5 x 42 cm (sheet), both with small tears at the intersections; five engravings by Jonas Haas, signed in the plate, to include 'HAFNIA', 1764, 18 x 51 cm, marked 'JHaasChal.Reg.Univ.Hafnia.sculpsit.1763', 'Amagernes Klaedning', 18.5 x 27.5 cm, 'Eremitage', 17.5 x 26.5 cm, 'Fredensborg', 18.5 x 27 cm, and 'Helsingor', 18.5 x 32 cm, few folding creases; also - plan of Frederiksberg 'Fridrichsberg Slot Bye og Have i Grund Ridsning', 1760, 18.5 x 30.5 cm; View of Frederiksberg Palace, 17.5 x 26.5 cm; View of Hirschholm Palace, 17.5 x 26.5 cm; View of Sophienberg Palace, 18.5 x 27 cm; View of Frederiksberg, 18 x 27 cm; View of Kronborg, 18.5 x 26 cm
