- Lot Description
For the C.S. Lewis fan, collectable early hardcover editions and one paperback collection. Some of his most well-known titles here. "Perelandra", hardcover Macmillan third printing, 1947. "Out Of The Silent Planet", an early hardcover Macmillan printing, also 1947. "The Screwtape Letters", early hardcover Macmillan printing from 1946, and "Space Trilogy" Macmillan paperback slipcover edition, 1975, with Bernard Symancik cover art.
Most of these show age and wear to some degree. Yellowing, edgewear, split/torn dust jackets, price-clipping on inner dj's. Light writing in pencil on first (blank) pages.
"That Hideous Strength" is an actual FIRST EDITION, FIRST U.S. PRINTING. Dust jacket is unfortunately torn and in poor condition; pencil writing on first (blank) page.
"The Screwtape Letters" --biggest issue is split/torn/missing dust jacket. Back cover illustration is included along with inner part of front--no front dj cover.
Spines are in relatively good, tight condition. "Space Trilogy" paperbacks show page yellowing, light edgewear. Slipcover has some wear, but intact. Cool collectables, altogether!

Shipping and handling is available by request. However, costs are not included in the final price. All parties are responsible for paying their own shipping costs based on the USPS shipping rates plus a supply charge of $5 per box. Your items will be charged to your credit card and an updated invoice with tracking number will be emailed to you. You must get auctioneer approval before bidding on items that must be shipped.
