Antique Edison Standard Phonograph Model "B" cylinder player, serial number S337181. Produced from 1898 to 1913 and one of the most popular models, the Standard had 7 different iterations, from Model "A" to "G". This model plays 2 minute cylinders. The gold/black "Full Banner" decal dates this one to around 1905 or so. It came with a single spring motor, an open horn, and Edison Model "C" sound reproducer. Oak wood construction.
The machine DOES wind up for play. Untested further. Inner parts look clean, the drive belt shows wear but is intact. Model C reproducer appears intact; no needle or horn. Handle wind-crank included. Locking wood-handled top is in good condition. General age wear, some rust and patina throughout. Edison Mark and banner decal show wear, but are clearly visible.
