- Lot Description
Antique Swiss Odin pocket watch. 15 jewels, sub-dial, 800 Swiss Silver. "Chronometre ODIN" Silver Pocket Watch with fob. Swiss-made watch with sterling silver case and intact crystal.
The cap case has many Swiss hallmarks inclucing, "Niel HF", a trademark from the case maker, Huguenin Freres from Le Locle. Other markings: “0.800” which, represents silver content. Above that number, very faintly a hallmark stamp is visible. It is a tiny capercaillie, the symbol of Swiss Sterling.
Watch case is numbered "98771"
Inner works numbered 99300.
The cuvette is inscribed "Chronometre ODIN Ancre 15 Rubis, Spiral Breguet Levees visibles double plateau balancier compense" (hairspring visible double balance plate compensates)".
The back of the case is monogrammed with a "ZW" or "WZ".
Notice: These items are located in a basement with no walk-out access. There is a finished wide stairway with a landing and turn midway. Please bring boxes or containers to carry your items up the stairs, and bring help if needed.
