- Lot Description
1883 Hampden Watch Company silver pocket watch with key and domed cover. Crystal is intact and the case is marked, "L180" A.M Watch Co. Waltham, Mass Warranted Serling Silver *L180". The case also is etched in hand with the number 12828 and underlined with a flourish. The minute hand is bent and scratched. The interior workings of the watch are marked, "Springfield, MASS 264678". This movement/serial number places the production year at 1883 with 7 jewels. Display box included.
Notice: These items are located in a basement with no walk-out access. There is a finished wide stairway with a landing and turn midway. Please bring boxes or containers to carry your items up the stairs, and bring help if needed.
