- Lot Description
Walter Hollis Stevens (Tennessee, 1927-1980) modernist abstract acrylic on canvas painting titled "Open Windows" consisting of various layered geometric shapes in multiple hues. Signed and dated "Stevens '66" lower left. Title, additional signature and date, medium, and dimensions inscribed, en verso to the stretcher. Housed in original wooden frame. Sight: 40" H x 36" W. Framed:40 3/4" H x 36 3/4" W.
Condition
Overall very good condition. A couple of minor pinprick accretions upper right quadrant, minor abrasions to the frame.
