- Lot Description
Christopher Burkett (American, b. 1951) two signed and framed nature photographs and first edition books, 4 items. 1st item: "Radiant Mountain Aspen," 1997, printed 1999. Signed in pencil on the mat and framed under glass in a giltwood molded frame. Sight: 10 1/4" x 13" 18 3/4". Frame: 20"H x 22 1/2"W. 2nd item: "Resplendent Leaves at Sunset, Oregon, 2002." Signed on the mat and framed in a black metal frame. Inscribed en verso in pencil: "Printed 2004 Print #49" and additionally signed and titled. Sight: 10 1/2" square. Frame: 17 1/2" square. Plus two signed and numbered hardcover Christopher Burkett books with full color photographic plates: "Intimations of Paradise" #110/ 400, 1999, and Resplendent Light, #49/300, 2004. Deluxe Edition copies bound in tan canvas and brown leather, in publisher's dark green and blue slipcases (without dustwrapper, as issued). Note: these limited edition books were issued with the prints.
Condition
Photographs are in excellent condition. Some minor wear noted to frames. Books: Resplendent Light has a couple of small chips to spine and some light discoloration to canvas. Other book in very good to excellent condition, Dustcovers are sunned with some light wear and soiling.
