1st item: French cavalry officer's sword, with horn handle wrapped in brass wire. Ricasso bears stamps CFC. Bronze handle with laurel wreath and drape decoration. Blade etched "Manufacture nationale d'armes de Chatellerault 1912", "Epee a ciselures". Includes scabbard, 33 1/2" blade, 39 1/4" total length. Dated 1912. 2nd item: US cavalry sword, German made for US market, with traces of etched decoration on blade, stamped 'W.Clauberg Solingen', leather and wire wrapped handle, 35 1/2"L, 36 3/4"L with scabbard. 3rd item: US cavalry sword, German made for US market, with etched decoration on blade, stamped "A&A Schnitzler Solingen", leather and wire wrapped handle, 35 1/2"L, 40"L with steel scabbard. 2nd and 3rd items late 19th century/Spanish American War era. Condition
1st item: Minor spotting on blade due to age. Scabbard is damaged and tip protector missing and has been altered to fit blade. 2nd item: Wire is loose and wrap on grip worn, expected oxidation/patination to blade and wear/oxidation to scabbard. 3rd item: Good condition with light oxidation/patination to blade, light oxidation and minor pitting to scabbard.
