1st-4th items: Autographs of U.S. Presidents Dwight D. Eisenhower (2), Richard Nixon (secretarial), and Lyndon Byrd Johnson. Includes one (1) signed photograph of Ike inscribed "for the faculty and students of Dean Academy and Junior College," dated December 1955 (12" x 10 1/2" sheet) along with one (1) accompanying brief typed letter, signed, on White House stationery addressed to Dean Academy president William C. Garner; one (1) Richard Nixon typed letter with secretarial signature, on White House stationery, addressed to Nashville newspaper publisher James Stahlman dated April 3, 1970, plus envelope; and one (1) LBJ typed letter, signed, on stationery with presidential seal and monogram, dated January 5, 1972, also to James Stahlman. Also included are nine (9) engraved 6" x 8" prints of the White House, US Supreme Court Justice John Marshall, and presidents John F. Kennedy, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, Andrew Johnson, Andrew Jackson, and John Adams (2), plus one (1) 5 1/2" x 9" print of John Quincy Adams (which is enclosed between two boards with inscription "Mrs. Cheek / R.E. Lee Memorial Assn, Print of JQ Adams), and four (4) 12" x 9" portraits of Lyndon B. Johnson, John F. Kennedy, Thomas Jefferson and George Washington. All items 20th century.
All items overall very good condition with light toning and minor signs of handling except as noted: Adams portrait has large crease and 2 1/2" light stain to upper right corner. Andrew Johnson portrait with large crease to upper left corner. Letters and White House print are encapsulated in protective plastic sheeting; LBJ and Nixon letters have been professionally cleaned and deacidified.
