Henri Matisse (French, 1869-1954) black and white linoleum cut print of a woman's head in profile on wove paper. From Les Miroirs Profonds published by Maeght, Paris, 1947. Printed by Draeger Freres in an edition of 950. Unsigned. Ref.: Duthuit Books 17. Housed under U/V filtering plexiglass in a giltwood frame with ivory fabric mat and gilt fillet. Sight: 9" H x 7" W. Frame: 22 1/2" H x 21 1.2" W.
Condition
Print is in good condition. Frame with minor abrasions including 2" scratch to center-left.
