Octavo. 457 pp. Maroon cloth boards stamped in silver, in publisher's maroon slipcase. FRANKY FURBO by William Wharton, Henry Holt & Company, New York, 1989. Hardcover Limited Edition of 250, this being #155, signed on limitation page. Octavo 228 pp. Blue cloth gilt stamped boards, in original DJ with acetate cover. Note: William Wharton (1925-2008) was the pen name of painter Albert William Du Aime, and is best known for his first novel BIRDY (1978). GOD'S GRACE by Bernard Malamud, Farrar Straus and Giroux, New York, 1982, Hardcover Limited Edition, #6 of 300 copies signed by Malamud on limitation page, which was inadvertently inserted by the publisher upside down in the rear of the book. 223 pp, green cloth boards, housed in publisher's green slipcase.
