72 pieces Gorham Strasbourg Sterling Silver Flatware, including 6 dinner forks (7 1/2" L), 6 luncheon forks (7" L), 12 salad forks (6 3/8" L), 9 pastry forks, (5 7/8" L), 12 oval bowl soup spoons (7" L), 20 Teaspoons (5 7/8" L), 1 gravy ladle (6 3/4" L), 1 lettuce fork (9 3/8" L), 1 lemon fork (4 3/8" L), 1 Sugar spoon (6" L), 1 large serving spoon with gilt wash bowl ( 9 5/8" L), 1 pierced table spoon (8 1/2" L), and 1 hollow handle cheese server with stainless blade (6 5/8" L), 77 weighable troy ounces.
Condition
Good overall condition. Dinner forks each monogramed "P", desert/pastry fork monogramed "L.P.R.", oval bowl soup spoons monogrammed "L.P.D", Ladle engraved "Louise", Lettuce fork monogrammed "L.D.", sugar spoon monogrammed "L J W", lemon fork monogrammed "L J W", serving spoon monogrammed "P", cheese server monogrammed "L.P.D". Looks to be an assembled partial service with a mixture of older and newer marks.
