- Lot Description
East TN pieced and applique quilt, Rose of Sharon pattern, consisting of vivid red, green, cheddar, and pink cotton fabrics on a white ground with a red border and binding. Overall quilted parallel lines. 77 in. x 72 in. Late 19th/Early 20th century.
Condition
Overall very good condition, fading to green fabrics in one quadrant, with slight staining to folding.

Private Memphis collection, purchased May 2011, from Case Auctions, Lot 186. Originally from the late J. N. Lonas Estate, Knoxville TN.
